Check into Motel 813!
Enter a 1970’s era motel room filled with items from a long-dead family. You and your friends are incredibly daring – or incredibly foolish – enough to check into Motel 813 on a dark and stormy night. In 1972, your hotel room became the scene of a grisly murder of a young family. While most people blamed the husband, the murder was never solved. When a second couple went missing after checking into this room it was closed to the public.
Now, you and your friends are locked in this room. If in 60 minutes, you have not been able to uncover the mystery behind their tragic deaths, your destiny will be no different than those of the guests that were here before you. Enjoy your stay.
Small Room/Big Adventure
MOTEL 813 offers private escape room adventures for couples, small families and smaller groups of friends.
Note that some of the puzzles in Port City Escape’s Halloween themed room escape room in October of 2016 became a part of the Motel 813 experience. If you completed that room you may want to book a different escape game.
Motel 813 is designed for smaller groups, so this puzzle room is not as large as our other exit games. Motel 813 also takes place in a low light setting with creepy noises.
What our guests are saying…
“My husband and I went for his birthday and escaped Motel 813! This was so much fun and an incredible date night! It exceeded our expectations! Shout out to Tiffany and Jason who were both great staff members and helped make our experience even more exceptional! Lots of laughs and adventure! We will definitely be back!!!”
“The i9 Sports Staff and I had such a great time at Port City Escape! The staff was fun, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The escape room puzzles were exciting and a challenge and I definitely recommended for families or team building. We will definitely be back to try all the rooms. Thank you!”
“Motel 813 really delivered. We love escape rooms and this one was the best. The room made you feel like you fell back, in time, to the very early 1980’s. Every single prop was perfect. The room had a creepy vibe without being horrible. We loved the puzzles. I kinda want to live in this Motel room.”
